My Background

David Wonders began as an outgrowth of a children’s church ministry in 1979 with an emphasis on children’s’ education.

   David Wonders has entertained troops with comedy & magic in the Morale, Recreation and Welfare theater for 18 months in Kandahar Afghanistan as a part of Operation Enduring Freedom where David received two awards in recognition of his service. 

Other projects included teaching magic as therapy with David Copperfield’s Project Magic, Circus Celebration and Science can look like magic for Tyler Young Audience Association.  For the American Red Cross, he wrote and produced “Don’t be Scared, Be Prepared”.  

David’s Wonders Reading is Magic is written expressly for schools and libraries to encourage learning for a better life. These are two of David’s favorite venues because so much of life is about learning.
